click image to enlarge The grand interior of this lodge was built early last century and has been lovingly restored in the spring of 2002 to create a warm nostalgic ambiance in comfortable premiere class accommodation. The main body of the lodge is entirely open-plan with a vaulted 20-foot ceiling supported by massive old beams. The lodge is surrounded by acres of national forest and is one of the highest habitable structures in the Chamonix valley with huge bay windows affording arguably the best views of the Mont Blanc massif. Advanced and intermediate skiers often choose to ski directly to the lodge doorstep.
